Amid the global pandemic, the Province of Ontario and the Ontario Business Improvement Area Association (OBIAA) announced the Digital Transformation Grant 2.0. It is a one-time $2,500 grant that eligible businesses inside of a BIA or central business district can apply for. The grant is to help main street businesses improve their digital operations.
Businesses that would like to apply for the $2,500 Digital Transformation Grant must:
The application gets reviewed by the OBIAA. Once approved, the business will receive a grant agreement to sign. From application to approval takes about 1-2 weeks based on the experience of partners.
Once the OBIAA receives the signed grant agreement, the OBIAA will release the $2,500 grant as a cheque or a direct transfer.
